Ontario Foreign worker:
The Ontario foreign worker is a subcategory of Ontario employer job offer which brings the applications from foreign nationals who have a job offer from a Canadian employer. Eligibility for Ontario Foreign Worker:
- An applicant must be ready to settle in the province and to contribute to its economy

- An applicant must have a full-time work experience of a minimum of two years in the same NOC code occupation listed in the job offer

- There is no minimum requirement for language proficiency and level of education

- Create an online account and fill the application form for Ontario Foreign worker
- Submit the supporting documents along with the application form
- Pay the application fee which is around $2,000 (CAD) for jobs offers located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and $1,500 (CAD) for jobs offers located outside of the GTA.
- If the province selects the profile for a provincial nomination, then it issues work permit support letter so that an applicant can apply for the temporary work permit
Note: The basis of selection for a foreign worker is first-come, first-serve. Moreover, the government of Ontario has temporarily stopped the intake of applications for this category since April 26th, 2019.
International student with a job offer:
The International student with a job offer is a subcategory of Ontario employer job offer which brings applications from foreign workers who have completed Canadian educational credential and have a job offer from the Canadian employer.
Eligibility for Ontario International student with a job offer:
- An applicant must be ready to settle in the province and to contribute to its economy
- An applicant must have a valid job offer for full-time permanent job classified in NOC skill type 0, A or B from a Canadian employer.
- An applicant must have completed Canadian educational credential fulfilling any of the following conditions,
- A full-time degree or diploma having a minimum duration of two years, or;
- A degree or diploma of one year; however, necessarily requires a previously completed degree for admission
- There is no minimum requirement for language proficiency and work experience for Ontario International student with a job offer
Application process for Ontario International student with job offer:
- Create an online account and fill the application form there for foreign worker
- Submit the supporting documents along with the application form
- Make the payment of application fee which is around $1500 (CAD)
- If the province selects the profile for a provincial nomination, then an applicant become eligible to apply for temporary work permit based on the issued work permit support letter

Ontario In-Demand Skills is one of the subcategories of the Ontario employer job offer which brings the applications from foreign workers who have work experience in any OINP’s in-demand occupation and have a job offer from Canadian employer.
Eligibility for Ontario In-Demand Skills:
- An applicant must have a valid job offer from Canadian employer in any OINP in-demand occupation
- An applicant must score a minimum of CLB level 4 in language proficiency test
- An applicant must have completed an educational credential equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma or higher
- An applicant must have a full-time work experience of one year in the same NOC code occupation listed in the job offer
Application process for Ontario In-demand skills:
- Create an online account and fill the application form there for foreign worker
- Submit the supporting documents along with the application form
- Make the payment of application fee which is around $2,000 CAD for jobs offers located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and $1,500 CAD for jobs offers located outside of the GTA.
