Provincial Nominee Program:
There are 11 Provincial Nominee Programs to nominate skilled and experienced prospects from different countries to meet the shortage of skills in Canadian provinces. Broadly, there are two PNP categories – Express entry linked PNPs (Enhanced PNPs) and Non-Express entry linked PNPs (Base PNPs). As the name implies, Express entry linked PNPs select candidates for provincial nominations from the Express entry pool. On the contrary, Base PNPs select candidates for nominations outside express entry pool.
