Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC)
§ Age:
An applicant who is in the age group ranging from 18 years to 46 years is eligible for applying for Canadian permanent residency through the Federal Skilled Worker Class
§ Education:
An applicant who has completed at least secondary diploma or high school diploma is eligible for FSWC. In case, he/she has completed education outside Canada, then Education Credential Assessment (ECA) from an approved authority like WES is mandatory to submit along with the application form.
§ Point-table:
An applicant who has scored at least 67 points out of 100 in THE point-assessment table is eligible to apply under this program.
§ Work experience:
An applicant who has an official letter for completing a minimum of one year of work experience within the last ten years either as a combination of full-time or part-time work in the relevant job field.
The work experience must include 1560 hours per year or 30 hours per week; it means he/she needs to work either in one full time paid job for one year (30 hours per week * 12 = 1560 hours for one year); or,
Part-time job for 15 hours per week for 24 months, equivalent to 1560 hours; or,
Full time paid jobs for 30 hours per week in more than one job for 12 months to fulfill 1560 hours in one year
§ Arranged employment:
An Applicant whose job profile comes in any of the three National Occupation Classification (NOC) categories including Skill Type 0 (Managerial Occupations), Skill Level A (Professional Occupations) or Skill Level B (Technical Occupations and Skilled Trades) is eligible for FSWC.
§ Language proficiency:
An applicant who has scored a minimum of Canadian language benchmark (CLB) level 7 in language proficiency test like IELTS. However, the test score should not be more than two years old from the date of application.
§ Proof of funds:
An applicant who has enough funds to support him/her and attendants in Canada for some time after immigration can apply through FSWC.
Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC):
§ Age:
Canada generally deals in labor-extensive activities like farming, mining, the export of natural resources and more so applicants having a minimum of 18 years of age are only eligible to apply for Federal Skilled Trades Class.
§ Education:
There is no minimum eligibility requirement for the level of education for FSTC; however, a higher level of education helps in achieving better CRS score.
§ Work experience:
An applicant who has scored a minimum work experience of two years within the last five years in a skilled trade under key groups of NOC B
§ Language proficiency:
An applicant who has scored a minimum of Canadian language benchmark (CLB) 5 for speaking and listening & CLB 4 for reading and writing in language proficiency test like IELTS.
Canadian Experience Class (CEC):
§ Age:
An applicant who is in the age group ranging from 18 years to 46 years is eligible for applying for Canadian permanent residency through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
§ Education:
There is no minimum requirement for the level of education for CEC; however, a higher level of education helps in achieving better CRS score.
§ Work experience:
An applicant who has an official letter for completing a minimum work experience of one year within the last three years either combination of full-time or part-time work
The work experience must include 1560 hours per year or 30 hours per week; it means he/she needs to work either in one full time paid job for one year (30 hours per week * 12 = 1560 hours for one year); or,

An applicant who has scored a minimum of Canadian language benchmark (CLB) level 7 in language proficiency test like IELTS if NOC is 0 or A and CLB 5 if NOC is B
